Alrighty then… This time we’ve got two themes! Both emulate the tumblr dashboard look. There’s dashboard. from Christopher. Cool dude, cool theme. And then there’s dashtheme realized by Tal. They’re both really cool but each has it’s own strength and weaknesses. Read on for the details…

    dashboard - regular post

    regular posts

Chris’ theme looks like it’s built with the tumblr group in mind. Mostly due to the fact that the posts point right to the author. Now, each post is also that darker color which reminds you of when you post stuff in the real dashboard. Tal’s theme on the other hand, is built for the individual in mind. The icons that are used for posting are used here for identification though it’s strange that they don’t work as permalinks also.

Again, Tal’s theme gives you an area for the tumbleog description (naturally more suited for individuals), while Christopher’s theme just has a cool(er) header in my opinion.

    download

Chris’ theme can be downloaded here. Tal’s can’t be downloaded yet… but you can follow the official live demo. Word is it will be released soon. Sweet!

A live demo of Chris’ theme is here, and Tal’s ovah there.
